METALLO PATINATO

NATURAL PATINAS WITH HIGH AESTHETIC IMPACT
FAQ - SDS

1. Description
A decorative finish with a high material and aesthetic impact. The Patinated Metal effect is a decorative finish that evokes the authentic look of metals oxidized by time, combining metallic reflections with the chromatic veils typical of natural patinas.
It is ideal for modern, industrial, or designer spaces, where a sense of living, lived-in material is desired. The surface is rich in nuances and contrasts, with plays of light and depth that vary depending on the incidence of light. The effect can be customized with different combinations of metals (tin, copper, brass, and bronze) and patinas (green, blue, and red), adapting to any style.
Available in various color variations and intensity levels, the Patinated Metal effect combines aesthetics and technique, adding a unique and unmistakable touch to any space.
2. Fields of application
Perfect for residential spaces, shops, showrooms, hotels, and contract environments where a strong and refined visual impact is desired.
Its innovative formulation is achieved using some of the finest raw materials, providing excellent mechanical properties, remarkable chemical resistance, and an effective barrier to mold and bacteria growth.
3. Preparation, coloring and mixing
Pour the "Comp B" metal powder in small doses into the "Comp A" and mix using an electric mixer with a special whisk until you obtain a smooth, lump-free paste. If necessary, add drinking water until you obtain a soft paste.
4. Application of walls, furniture and interior doors
Substrates must be dry, solid, and free of dust, paint, wax, oil, loose particles, and weathered surfaces.
Apply a single coat of NK Primer evenly over the entire surface to be treated using a short-haired roller and a brush.
Let it dry for 24 hours (+20°C).
Apply a single coat of Patinated Metal, approximately 1 mm thick, using a stainless steel trowel, evenly and evenly over the entire surface to be treated.
Let the product dry for 24 hours (+20°C).
Using an electric polisher connected to a vacuum cleaner, attach the 1000-grit silicon carbide polishing disc and polish the entire surface.
Polish the surface again as before, but replace the silicon carbide polishing disc with a 3000-grit disc.
Apply a single coat of Patina in the chosen color (Blue, Green, Red) using a soft sponge.
Let dry for 24 hours (+20°C);
Apply a generous coat of ProteKto EcoSilan using a short-haired mohair roller;
