1. Description
From the incredible need to create beauty and increasingly durable products for the luxury market, the new Namibia finish was born, making a strong entrance into the international interior design market. Highly resistant to sanitizing and disinfecting products, and suitable for both interior and exterior use, the latest finish from Nikkolor Italia features a fully three-dimensional texture and a soft touch, reproducing the absolute perfection of fine fabrics.
A tribute to the exotic elegance of oriental fabrics, a decorative effect that blends tradition and refinement in perfect balance.
With its enveloping shades and timeless charm, Namibia lends spaces an aura of exclusivity and warmth, transforming every wall into a refined work of art with an exotic yet contemporary feel.
Its soft, luminous surfaces recall the exquisite weaves of handcrafted fabrics, enriched with iridescent reflections and sophisticated textures.
2. Composition
An innovative blend of nanoresin, selected crystals, metallic pigments, and additives.
Thanks to its technical and chemical properties, the product is scratch-resistant and flexible, easy and quick to apply, non-toxic, non-yellowing, permeable to water vapor, and resistant to fungi and bacteria.
Namibia is an environmentally sustainable and advanced product, containing no added *formaldehyde or **APEO, and with a very low VOC content.
3. Fields of application
Ideal for covering interior walls and ceilings for high-end design and renovations in public and private spaces, shopping centers, shops, bars, villas, and residences.
The unique feature of the completely seamless design allows for seamless solutions, a true innovation in modern architecture, with a refined finish capable of creating a fabric effect, lending three-dimensionality to the surfaces it covers.
4. Preparation
The product is ready to use, mix well before use.
5. Application of "Fili di Lino" on interior walls, furniture and doors
Substrates must be dry, solid, and free of dust, paint, wax, oil, loose particles, and weathered surfaces.
Apply a single coat of Primer NK evenly over the entire surface to be treated using a short-haired roller and a brush.
Let dry for 24 hours (+20°C).
Apply a first coat of Namibia over approximately 2 m² using a short-haired roller. Using a doormat pad, draw vertical strokes over the still-wet product.
Let dry for 112 hours (+20°C).
Apply a second coat of Namibia, proceeding as described for the first coat.
Let dry for 24 hours (+20°C).
6. Application of "Fili di Lino" on external walls
Substrates must be dry, solid, and free of dust, paint, wax, oil, loose particles, and weathered surfaces.
Apply a single coat of Primer NK evenly over the entire surface to be treated using a short-haired roller and a brush.
Let dry for 24 hours (+20°C).
Apply a first coat of Namibia over approximately 2 m² using a short-haired roller. Using a doormat pad, draw vertical lines over the still-wet product.
Let dry for 112 hours (+20°C);
Apply a second coat of Namibia, proceeding as described for the first coat.
Let dry for 24 hours (+20°C);
Apply a first coat of VetroLiquido PRP using a short-haired roller (mohair) over approximately 1/2 m² and immediately smooth the product with a stainless steel trowel to eliminate any bubbles.
Let dry for 12 hours (+20°C);
Apply a second coat of VetroLiquido PRP as you did with the first;
Let the product dry for 24 hours (+20°C);
Apply a third coat of VetroLiquido PRP as you did with the second;
Let the product dry for 48 hours (+20°C).
7. Application of "Fili di Lino" shower enclosure and kitchen backsplash
Substrates must be dry, solid, and free of dust, paint, wax, oil, loose particles, and seasoned surfaces.
Lay out the 70/80 g/m2 fiberglass mesh, taking care to position it so that it does not crease, overlapping the ends of the mesh by at least 10 cm.
Apply a first coat of Primer Beton using a stainless steel trowel, evenly and evenly over the entire surface to be treated.
Let the product dry for 24 hours (+20°C).
Apply a second coat of Primer Beton as previously.
Let the product dry for 24 hours (+20°C).
Apply a single coat of Primer NK diluted 30% with drinking water, evenly over the entire surface to be treated, using a short-haired roller and a brush.
Let it dry for 24 hours (+20°C).
Apply a first coat of Namibia over approximately 2 m² using a short-haired roller. Using a doormat pad, draw vertical strokes over the still-wet product.
Let dry for 12 hours (+20°C);
Apply a second coat of Namibia, proceeding as described for the first coat.
Let dry for 24 hours (+20°C);
Apply a first coat of VetroLiquido PRP using a short-haired roller (mohair) over approximately 1/2 m², then immediately smooth the product with a stainless steel trowel to eliminate any bubbles.
Let dry for 12 hours (+20°C);
Apply a second coat of VetroLiquido PRP as described for the first coat.
Let dry for 24 hours (+20°C);
Apply a third coat of VetroLiquido PRP as described for the second coat.
Let dry for 48 hours (+20°C).

Drying: Touch dry 2 hours, through drying 24 hours at 20°C;

Packaging: 1 liter;
Cleaning instructions: Clean with a damp microfiber cloth.
Storage: Store in tightly closed original packaging in a dry place between +5°C and +30°C.
Washing resistance: Resistant to washing > 50,000 cycles (Gadner UNI 10795 UNI 10560);
Water vapor permeability: High (UNI 10795 UNI EN ISO 7783-2);
Alkali resistance: UNI 10795;
Dirt pick-up: Low (UNI EN 10792).
