1. Description
Nikkolor Italia revisits the ancient past and projects it toward the design of the future, thus creating Marblex Mirror. In the expert hands of artisans, it imitates the finest and most unique marbles, capturing the soul of anyone who gazes upon it. Marblex Mirror is more than just a finish; it is a tale of passion and discovery, a journey through the mysteries of nature and the wonders of Venetian art.
It is the perfect blend of tradition and refinement, a tribute to Venetian decorative art, which has enchanted with its timeless elegance for centuries.
This exclusive decorative element stands out for its soft, luminous surfaces, enriched with sophisticated nuances and artisanal details that evoke the charm of the historic palaces of the Serenissima.
With its velvety texture and refined character, Marblex Mirror brings warmth and prestige to any space, transforming walls and surfaces into true works of art with a classic and timeless feel.
2. Fields of application
Ideal for covering interior and exterior walls and ceilings, intended for large-scale design and the renovation of public and private spaces, shopping centers, shops, bars, villas, residences, shower cubicles, bathrooms, saunas, furniture, doors and furnishing accessories, all to meet the furnishing needs of modern and contemporary architecture.
3. Preparation
The product is ready to use, mix well before use.
4. Application "Precious Marbles"
Substrates must be dry, solid, and free of dust, paint, wax, oil, loose particles, and weathered surfaces.
Apply a single coat of Primer NK evenly over the entire surface to be treated using a short-haired roller and a brush.
Let the product dry for 24 hours (+20°C).
Prepare the appropriate amount of Marblex Mirror "two or more colors."
Apply Marblex Mirror over the entire surface using a stainless steel trowel, using wavy, transverse movements to create the characteristic marble-like nuances of overlapping colors for approximately 2-3 m². Go back and smooth the product while it's still wet to flatten and blend the colors. Continue this process over the entire surface.
Let it dry for 24 hours (+20°C).
Using an electric polisher connected to a vacuum cleaner, apply the 1000-grit silicon carbide polishing disc and polish the entire surface. Proceed with the second polishing step using the 3000-grit polishing disc.
Dilute Marblex Mirror in neutral or the desired color and draw the grain using a specific brush or a professional airbrush.
Let it dry for 2-4 hours (+20°C).
Polish the surface again as before, using only the 3000-grit disc.
Wipe the entire surface with a dry cotton cloth to remove any traces of dust.
5. Application of "Precious Stones" furniture, doors, bathrooms, shower cubicles, kitchen backsplashes, interior and exterior
Substrates must be dry, solid, and free of dust, paint, wax, oil, loose particles, and weathered surfaces.
Apply a single coat of Primer NK evenly over the entire surface to be treated using a short-haired roller and a brush.
Let the product dry for 24 hours (+20°C).
Prepare the appropriate amount of Marblex Mirror "two or more colors."

After 72 hours from polishing (+20°C),
Apply a first coat of VetroLiquido PRP Satin using a short-haired roller (mohair) for approximately 1/2 square meter, then immediately smooth the product with a stainless steel trowel to eliminate any bubbles.
Allow the product to dry for 24 hours (+20°C).
Apply a second coat of VetroLiquido PRP Satin as you did with the first.
Allow the product to dry for 48 hours (+20°C).
6. Application wall "Natural Marble"
Substrates must be dry, solid, and free of dust, paint, wax, oil, loose particles, and weathered surfaces.
Apply a single coat of Primer NK evenly over the entire surface using a short-haired roller and a brush.
Let the product dry for 24 hours (+20°C).
Apply a first coat of Marblex Mirror using a stainless steel trowel to create classic Venetian-style spatula strokes. Continue this process over the entire surface.
Let it dry for 12 hours (+20°C).
Apply a second coat of Marblex Mirror over approximately 2 m². Go back and smooth the surface until it is smooth and level by tilting the stainless steel trowel.
Let it dry for 12 hours (+20°C).
Using an electric polisher connected to a vacuum cleaner, apply the 1000-grit silicon carbide polishing disc and polish the entire surface. Proceed with the second polishing step using the 3000-grit polishing disc.
Dilute Marblex Mirror in neutral or the desired color and draw the grain using a special brush.
Let it dry for 2-4 hours (+20°C).
Polish the surface again as before, but replace the silicon carbide polishing disc with a 3000-grit disc.
Wipe the entire surface with a dry cotton cloth to remove any traces of dust.
7. Applications of "Natural Marble" furniture, doors, bathrooms, shower enclosures, kitchen backsplashes, interior and exterior
Substrates must be dry, solid, and free of dust, paint, wax, oil, loose particles, and weathered surfaces. The effects are limitless and require specific, advanced techniques to achieve the desired results.
Apply a single coat of Primer NK evenly over the entire surface using a short-haired roller and a brush.
Let dry for 24 hours (+20°C).
Apply a first coat of Marblex Mirror using a stainless steel trowel to create classic Venetian-style spatula strokes. Continue this process over the entire surface.
Let dry for 12 hours (+20°C).
Apply a second coat of Marblex Mirror over approximately 2 m². Go back and smooth the surface until it is smooth and level by tilting the stainless steel trowel.
Let dry for 24 hours (+20°C).
Using an electric polisher connected to a vacuum cleaner, apply the 1000-grit silicon carbide polishing disc and polish the entire surface. Proceed with the second polishing step using the 3000-grit polishing disc.

Apply a second coat of VetroLiquido PRP Satin as you did with the first.
Allow the product to dry for 48 hours (+20°C).
8. Application of "Venetian Stucco"
Substrates must be dry, solid, and free of dust, paint, wax, oil, loose particles, and weathered surfaces.
Apply a single coat of Primer NK evenly over the entire surface using a short-haired roller and a brush.
Let the product dry for 24 hours (+20°C).
Apply a first coat of Marblex Mirror using a stainless steel trowel to create the classic Venetian-style spatula strokes. Continue this process over the entire surface.
Let it dry for 12 hours (+20°C).
Apply a second coat of Marblex Mirror over approximately 2 m², then go back and smooth the surface until it is smooth and level by tilting the stainless steel trowel.
Let it dry for 12 hours (+20°C).
Apply a third coat of Marblex Mirror as described for the second coat.
Let it dry for 24 hours (+20°C).
Using an electric polisher connected to a vacuum cleaner, apply the 1000-grit silicon carbide polishing disc and polish the entire surface. Proceed with the second polishing step using the 3000-grit polishing disc.
Wipe the entire surface with a dry cotton cloth to remove any dust.
9. Application of "Stucco Veneziano" for furniture, doors, bathrooms, shower cubicles, kitchen backsplashes, interiors and exteriors
Substrates must be dry, solid, and free of dust, paint, wax, oil, loose particles, and weathered surfaces.
Apply a single coat of Primer NK evenly over the entire surface using a short-haired roller and a brush.
Let the product dry for 24 hours (+20°C).
Apply a first coat of Marblex Mirror using a stainless steel trowel to create the classic Venetian-style spatula strokes. Continue this process over the entire surface.
Let it dry for 12 hours (+20°C).
Apply a second coat of Marblex Mirror over approximately 2 m², then go back and smooth the surface until it is smooth and level by tilting the stainless steel trowel.
Let it dry for 12 hours (+20°C).
Apply a third coat of Marblex Mirror as described for the second coat.
Let it dry for 24 hours (+20°C).
Using an electric polisher connected to a vacuum cleaner, apply the 1000-grit silicon carbide polishing disc and polish the entire surface. Proceed with the second polishing step using the 3000-grit polishing disc.
Wipe the entire surface with a dry cotton cloth to remove all traces of dust.
After 72 hours of polishing (+20°C);
Apply a first coat of VetroLiquido PRP Satin using a short-haired (mohair) roller for approximately 1/2 square meter, then smooth the product with a stainless steel trowel to remove any bubbles.
Let the product dry for 24 hours (+20°C);
Apply a second coat of VetroLiquido PRP Satin as described for the first;
Let the product dry for 48 hours (+20°C).

11. Helpful tips
Do not apply to wet, frozen surfaces, or repairs that are still damp.
Do not apply in strong sunlight, strong winds, or rain.
It is recommended to apply materials from single batches to the same facade and to position scaffolding to spread the product continuously until suitable technical interruptions are made.
It is important that during application and for the following 24 hours, the temperature does not drop below +5°C and the relative humidity does not exceed 80%.
Compliant with the UNI EN 15457 standard (resistance to fungal growth), thanks to the presence of specific broad-spectrum additives, the product prevents the formation of mold, fungi, algae, and moss over time.
